We wanted to reach out to you all regarding the current pandemic of COVID-19. Our team cares about your health and the health of those around you. This global pandemic is in both the United States and India, hitting both countries hard. We hope that you are remaining safe and doing your part to isolate yourself. We have therefore decided to postpone the 2020 Summer Khorana Scholarships. There will be more details to come regarding when these may be returning.
But more importantly, we wanted to post with encouragement to be compliant with the social distancing guidelines and ensure that you are taken the correct precautions to remain safe! We have attached a link to the CDC where you can find information on how to keep yourself safe:

You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you:
Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub
Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze
Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell
Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell
Don’t touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean and wash your hands after you do touch your eyes, nose or mouth
