Programs for Early Career Researchers

 

Sci-ROI@INDIA Program

Sci-ROI@India is a dynamic and upcoming network of STEM Professionals in India. We are working to develop multiple initiatives that will assist Indian STEM professionals to launch their careers successfully in India. Our mission includes the following four specific areas

  • Promoting networking and cross-sector collaborations: Collaborative Database
  • Mentoring returning Indian diaspora: Return2India Mentorship Program
  • Nurturing excellent and inquisitive minds through undergraduate research mentorship: ReAct Program
  • Scientific discourse: ‘Evolving trends in Indian STEM’ Webinar Series


USHA-INDIA PROGRAM

The US Healthcare Alliance (USHA) with India Program integrates research, training and education across diverse institutes in the US and India

  •  to launch new cross-disciplinary scientific/clinical collaborative initiatives and partnerships, and
  • to strengthen existing collaborations,

thereby ensuring sustainability of global research networks that address new and old global healthcare challenges.

 



KHORANA TECH-TRANSFER PROGRAM

The Technology Transfer Course was specially designed as an intensive program aimed to provide participants with significant insight into managing technology in its journey from the laboratory to the marketplace through a series of pedagogical lectures, round table discussions, case studies, and site visits. This extended course was hosted by UW Madison in 2013.



RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Armed with a U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) grant, WINStep Forward worked with Mr. Rahul Gandhi and separately with Mr. Anand Mahindra to bring several leading dairy and soil scientists to India.
