Promoting Scientific Cooperation between India and the United States

Institutions Partnered in the Scholar Exchange

The Khorana Program was founded by Aseem Ansari and Ken Shapiro at the University of Wisconsin-Madison through a partnership with the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF)  and the Indian Department of Biotechnology (DBT).  The Khorana Scholars Program enables Indian Scholars to spend a research summer at participating universities in the United States.  Similarly, the program facilitates research summers in India for American students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs at partner schools in the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC).
