PROMOTING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY BETWEEN INDIA AND THE U.S.
The U.S. Bose Scholars Program is an opportunity for U.S. students to participate in STEM based research in India for a summer. The program allows students a great deal of flexibility with respect to the specific area in which they would like to perform research, as well as the professor under whom they would like to work. Students finalize a research subject area and contact a professor who has agrees to host them in their lab for the summer, Students are encouraged to choose from a list of reputable academic institutions in India, although they can choose an instiutution not on the WINStep website. Applicants who are accepted into the program are guided through the visa application process and the process of choosing a mentor and host institution by WINStep Forward and IUSSTF staff.
