PROMOTING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY BETWEEN INDIA AND THE U.S.
WINStep Forward and Namaste Madison recently hosted a Meet and Greet in Madison, WI for the new Consul General of the Chicago Consulate, Shri Sudhakar Dalela. The new appointed Consul has been meeting with the regional Indian diaspora on his travels across the midwestern states under the Chicago Consulate’s jurisdiction. His first visit to Madison, the CG was eagerly greeted by the leadership and members of the Association of Indian Americans Madison Chapter as well as many leaders from the local Indian community. He stressed education and community networking/ building as top priorities he hopes to focus on during his three-year terms.
The following Money, the CG made his diplomatic visit with Governor Tony Evers and also met with UW Madison leadership, faculty, students and the Khorana and Bose Scholars who are currently completing their summer research at UW Madison. The Consul General welcomed the Khorana Bose Scholars in May 2019 at their Orientation at the University of Chicago. He is also planning on attending the Young Investigators Meeting in September 2019 hosted by WINStep Forward and the University of Chicago.
