Worked with Sharmila Bapat, the goals of her summer internship were to determine which E-box TCF21 preferentially binds to in the promoter region of Slug and OVOL2, as well as expand on previous research which has shown that preferred order of binding to E-boxes in vitro studies does not necessarily predict in situ behaviour.
