Host: Yale University
Currently a Chemistry undergraduate at St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, I’m particularly interested in the glycobiology of host-pathogen interactions and immune evasion, synthetic organic chemistry and its applications in designing artificial life. I was placed at Dr. Nikhil Malvankar’s Lab at Yale University – my project would have been on investigating the role of Geobacter ‘nanowires’ in bacterial adhesion to the host and metabolism in disease. It’s been downright phenomenal to be a Khorana scholar, and a part of the WinStep Forward community – I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity.
