PROMOTING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY BETWEEN INDIA AND THE U.S.
Nick is a 2013 S.N. Bose Scholar. He studies biochemistry and global health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Nick did his study abroad at the National AIDS Research Institute under Dr. Ashwini Shete studying the efficacy of different real-time PCR primers in quantifying HIV proviral DNA in patients’ blood samples. He hopes to one day work for a biotechnology or biopharmaceutical company. His favorite things about Pune were the local cuisine (especially sweet corn), the rich history, and the zoo.
