Stipend INR 50,000. This stipend is used to cover the cost of food, housing, and transportation. If housing is made available through an academic institution, the stipend easily covers the cost of housing. If housing is through a non-academic public or private research institution, sometimes the stipend will not fully cover the accommodations cost and students may need to supplement with their own funds
Airfare. Airfare is reimbursed to the student in an amount up to $1800.00
Placement at leading Universities and Research Laboratories in India. WINStep Forward and IUSSTF can aid in matching the student’s interest to the appropriate research lab
Program Requirements
ELIGIBILITY:
US Citizens/Permanent Residents/Indian Citizens
Students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from all disciplines of Science & Engineering at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States, including medical students
Open to students from all disciplines of Science & Engineering
Minimum 3.0 GPA
If accepted, you would need a passport

Candidates are encouraged to fill out the online application and upload scanned copies of latest mark-sheet/transcript, No-Objection Certificate & 2 Letters of Recommendation. Recommendation letters can be uploaded on the online application portal or if referees wish to give a sealed one, they may send it directly to bose@indousstf.org and piyer@indousstf.org with Applicant’s full name in the subject line.
